When I’m in ecstasy, I feel like I’m a grotesque monster.
How do other people perceive these “monstrous moments”?
Guided by this question, I visualized the ecstatic sensations of five men.
The work asks whether monstrosity belongs only to me, or whether it resides within all men.

He works across fiction film, experimental video, and performance.
His practice explores the male body as a sex incapable of pregnancy and childbirth and questions what it means to be a man within Japan’s declining population.
