Description:

Monsters exist in the space between madness and reassurance.

Monsters are the monstrous forms taken by suppressed impulses, desires, and regressive urges, appearing at the boundary between order and chaos. Monsters seek a vessel to accept them, to be liberated, and to gain the reassurance of catharsis.

It is a primal sense of reassurance, like being enveloped in the womb. Only when enveloped within the womb can the monster cry out.
The womb where the monster exists symbolizes the boundary between madness and reassurance.

This work is an attempt to visualize that.

Artist Statement:

I am deeply drawn to the inherent madness, fragility, and imperfect, distorted beauty within the human unconscious.

By pursuing these themes through my work, I aim to draw closer to them, delve deeper into my own being, and further approach the instinctive essence of humanity.

Furthermore,I consider it important to physically resonate with my own sensations through the act of breaking and creating, thereby drawing closer to that essence.

Through such works, I hope to provide viewers with an opportunity to reexamine what lies deep within themselves, things they might not normally notice.
