Fascination with money pushed spirituality aside, and it slowly collapsed. Those who abandoned it destroyed what remained. I hope for a peaceful world where material and spirituality exist in balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Artist Statement:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I worked for a company for many years, like a horse, but realized I wasn\u2019t meant to be an office worker, so I began drawing. \u201cTorch\u201d in Japanese is TAIMATSU, a sacred symbol since ancient times.
