The monsters are treated as symbols of nature\u2019s strange forms, and by placing them within the bonsai structure, the work tests how far the idea of reproducing nature can hold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Artist Statement:<\/strong><br>I\u2019m drawn to questions that arise as I try to understand things, and to the moments when ideas expand from them.
