\nRyo Kajitani is a Japanese artist, researcher and ex-model.
\nShe has a sexual identity disorder and used to act as a fashion model in the East Asian region for a short period of time while taking advantage of her neutral appearance.
\nThe older works were based on decadent and dark painting style, and together with Beksi\u0144ski the team of Yuko Tatsushima used to be popular in Japan with the theme of “the words that should not be looked up.” Currently, she specializes in pencil drawing based on oil painted woodcut prints and is a graduate school student while continuing her work, production and research as well publishing of her works around the world.
\n\u3000In her field of research, from the viewpoint of a producer, she challenges herself to German theory of existence, especially in the context of ontological aesthetics.
\nBy utilizing practices inherent to authors, such as productions and exhibitions, and by using the close relationship with exhibition spaces whose basic unit is loss of hometown as the starting point, she studies the possibility of Heidegger-like and ontological deployment of exhibition spaces and the \u201cworks, authors, and viewers\u201d inside of them. The results will be finally summarized in her doctoral thesis and in the doctoral work and will be presented in actual exhibition spaces including museums.
